Au SAE J1939 Simulators (Gen II) Ver 1.00A and Ver 2.00A

The Au SAE J1939 simulators (Gen II) can generate SAE J1939 signal for up to three controller applications (CA): Engine, ABS and Transmission. It is widely used as valuable tools for any situation from product-line test, incoming inspection, business demonstration to product development and product validation.

Twelve editions of J1939 simulator is now available to meet different customer needs.

0. Most recent edition is Ver 2.00A (Firmware Ver 0.2A). The Ver 1.00A (Firmware Ver 0.1A) is still available as an economic solution.
1. All "Gen II 1.00A" editions have the same software codes as "Gen I 1.00A" editions. Both "Gen I 1.00A" and "Gen II 1.00A" use the same minor and major firmware updates. Both can be upgrade to Ver 2.00A with major Firmware upgrade Order #: FIRJ1939-001.
2. All Gen II editions have the same microcontroller hardware design as Gen I editions.
3. The major changes on Gen II editions are listed as:
       a)All Gen II editions now include an enclosure.
       b)A DB9 male connector is used for Power, Ground, CAN_H and CAN_L signal.
       c)All Gen II editions are smaller on size with the state of the art SMD technology.
4. Ver 1.00A can be upgrade to 2.00A with major Firmware upgrade Order #: FIRJ1939-001.

1. "J1939 simulator firmware version check" feature is added on Remote Terminal and a "warning message" will be issued when firmware doesn't match the minimum requirement for Remote Terminal. For users who need Vehicle ABS information, Vehicle Transmission information and Engine Configurations information, please consider the Vehicle Platinum Edition(s).

Au SAE J1939 Simulator non-PLUS editions

Engine Basic Edition --- Hydrogen (H) and Beryllium (Be)

Engine Basic Edition can statically or dynamically simulate most of the engine SAE J1939 data. Two push buttons (UP and DOWN buttons) are used in the static mode to control the data outputs. The dynamic mode will automatically cycling the data in its range. LEDs will indicate the control status. And Buzzer sound reflects push button inputs. The buzzer sound can also be disabled.

After a network is physically connected, simply powering up the simulator will get it transmitting Engine operating data on SAE J1939 network. No software setup and No CAN protocol configuration skill are required.

Static mode will generate steady SAE J1939 data, Dynamic mode will generate constant-changing SAE J1939 data automatically.

The Engine Premium Edition(s) support more PGNs and communication protocols than Engine Basic Edition, e.g. Engine DM1 and DM2 message etc. All SAE defined Transport Protocols are implemented for Engine DM1 and DM2. These features make the Engine Premium Edition a good development/test tool for any application which requires engine DM1, DM2 single-packet/multi-packet warning information or any Transport Protocol related Functions defined by SAE J1939-21.

Vehicle Platinum Edition --- Sodium (Na) and Calcium (Ca)

Vehicle Platinum Edition includes all Engine Premium Edition functions, plus the following features and SAE-J1939 Parameters.
